The preference for plastically strong shapes was already apparent from the "newly discovered" seashell- and treetrunk vases in 1902.  The initial impetus to the use of more elaborate applications was given by the Orpheus decor in 1903, featuring a soft iridescent touch and azure threads and dots.  It was then extended in the Texas , (derived from the Latin "texare" = to plait/to weave) and Nautilus glass.
Variations of the Texas decor were the richly decorated  Boulé-Boulé ,  Empire , and Gloria.

The Candia Silberiris  Astartig  decor was more adventurous and together with the  Leonidas  type, with its whimsical, applied  dots, it was one of the highlights in the production of 1904.
The decors index also shows the Coppelia type: a wave optical base with mostly silveriris applications
